Give us one word to describe your Rutgers experience?: Everything

What is one thing you learned at Rutgers that has helped prepare you post-graduation professionally or personally?: With 9/11 happening the first week I started at Rutgers, it made me realize how important it is to create meaningful and authentic relationships. The friends I made at RU and the bonds we share are unbreakable. I consider them all family.

What is a part of your identity that you discovered while at RU (passion for something, political beliefs, etc)?: I have a real knack for community and group organizing. My selfishness to do what I wanted, compounded with my friend’s laziness, allowed me hone my skills event planning all throughout college, which has lead to a very successful career.

How has your Rutgers education or network help get you where you are today?: My education is far and beyond, the most important part of my identity. Without the experiences both inside and outside the classroom, I am not sure where I would be today.

If you could share one piece of advice with a current freshman, what would it be?: Study hard, play harder. This is the only time in life you’ll successfully function on 4 hours sleep.

Final thoughts or reflections?: Spend time at Passion Puddle.
